Five years as a touring public speaker and a founder (2007–2014) built the instinct; a decade co-leading Wilcox Law's operations with my wife, Lisa, through $11M in peak annual revenue (2014–2024) proved I could sustain it at scale, alongside an entrepreneurial SEO practice I ran in parallel. When the firm closed after Christmas 2023 following Lisa's early-onset dementia and Lewy body disease diagnosis, I became the family's sole provider and returned to the classroom — and in 2026, Path to Unity asked me to bring that same instinct to civic media, full-time, as the primary host of PTU Studio.

Recruited by founder Robert Liva to serve as primary host/interviewer for PTU Studio, Path to Unity's flagship podcast and civic-engagement content arm, after debuting as its first guest.
Conduct structured, on-camera interviews with community members, business owners, educators, faith leaders, first responders, and elected officials to surface local issues and drive civic participation.
Contributed original policy analysis ("Data is Property," a data-ownership and breach-liability framework); built and operate a home studio for content produced between HQ production days.

History & Social Studies Educator

Certified to teach History 7-12, Social Studies 7-12, and General Studies EC-6 (TExES) and taught full-time through 2026, building on 5,000+ hours of prior classroom experience.

Co-led the firm for a decade with my wife, Lisa Renee Wilcox (lisareneewilcox.com), growing it to 5 employees plus dozens of case contractors and $11M in peak annual revenue.
Managed international compliance (KYC/AML), cross-border payments, and tax efficiency across jurisdictions for complex IP and technology litigation.

Keylink Agency — SEO & Content Strategy (concurrent side venture) | 2016 – 2024

Built and ran an SEO consultancy alongside full-time firm leadership, delivering technical audits, content strategy, and link-building for B2B and B2C e-commerce clients.
Secured press placements generating hundreds of high-authority backlinks per project, including #1 rankings for 40 target keywords in a single campaign.

The firm closed after Christmas 2023 following Lisa's early-onset dementia and Lewy body disease diagnosis. I became the family's sole provider, stepped back from Keylink, and returned to the classroom.
