Before the microphone: five years as a public speaker and founder, a decade co-leading a law firm's operations with my wife, and now teaching history. All of it comes down to the same thing — making something complicated make sense to the person in front of you.
I live outside Pilot Point, Texas, where I write about self-reliance, land, and building things with your hands. That's still part of who I am — the archive of that writing is being moved over from the old site and will be back here soon.
